You Tube Meg's Song Video

So, I secretly like writing music, which some of you know, and a friend of mine recently let me use his equipment to record one of my songs for a contest. He videotaped it, and put together this cool video found here . If you watch it, keep in mind that I had a baby 5 days later. I wouldn't usually post something like this, but I would love feedback- for instance, if you think its cheesy, let me know. If you like it, let me know. I love writing music, but I want to know if there is a market for my style- it's obviously a Christian/ Inspirational genre, but I hope in my heart of hearts its not cheesy. But if it is, it's better to know now. (The second verse is based on words spoken by Gordon B. Hinckley)

Meg, you are so talented! I loved hearing you sing; it's been so long since I hear you last! Great song. The melody was gorgeous and memorable, the lyrics were inspiring, the accompaniment was lovely. I do have one suggestion for the song: consider putting a bridge between the 2nd and 3rd verse to break up the repetition a little. I liked that you made the tag at the end a little different, but I feel that it needed something in the middle.

I loved it Meg. I didn't think it was cheesy at all! Definitely christian music I would listen to. It made me cry. So inspiring! It made me cry...in a good way!

MEG!!!! I miss hearing you sing. Wow! That was an amazing song. I wish I had that talent but I can't write a song to save my life (or pass my final in college for that matter :( ) I loved it. I wouldn't change it and it definitely wasn't cheesy at all. Your voice sounds really good on the recording. My recorded voice sounds like I'm 12.

FYI-I couldn't get the link to open either but figured out how to search your name on You Tube. So, you can pass that along to those who can't open it.

Meg,
Robert, Ryan, and I just listened to it and liked it. Ryan's been having a fussy loud day, but your song held his attention. Obviously, he has good taste in music. I'm no professional critic, but I liked your song, too. I didn't think it was cheesy. My only comment is that weaving the breeze and trees metaphor into at least the first verse more prominently would strengthen the piece overall. (But, that's just my opinion. I'm not-so-secretly admiring your talentedness.)

The link has the http part duplicated, and I found that I could go right to the page with your song if I deleted the duplication.
