As of last week, which is an almost 8 month measure, Benson is 18 lbs, and 27 1/2 inches long. That means he has grown 5 pounds in 2 months, 4 of which he gained in the first month of good old formula supplementing. He gained the other pound in the past month, which puts him at the 25% curve, up from the 2% mark. Good job, buddy! He's holding his own head up in this picture, which for him is tremendous!

I had to chuckle a little at this one. Some of it feels so familiar to me. At 8 months old, I had to put Collin on special formula, because as my Dr. so kindly told me "you're body isn't working right!"
Anyway, he went from losing weight to gaining...a ton! For the first 8 months he was always under 5%. At his 12 month check up, he was in the 40-50% range!
I still like to blame his stockiness on the formula..of course it has been three years! But he finally seems to be losing his "baby weight" Now, only if I could!!
Grow Benson grow! He just gets cuter and cuter every time I see him.
hi meg! i'm not so good at posting on my blog either. but we're both better than suzy! haha. Benson is such a cutie, and he seems plenty big to me ... my daughter will be 1 on Sunday and at our visit last week she was 18.5 pounds. I think I'll try feeding her with graham crackers tomorrow, maybe that will encourage her eating habits. thanks for the tip! take care - it was nice to hear from you!
