- I am a 30- something trying to get back to a weight I haven't seen since around 4th grade.

i didn't know you teach piano! how much do you charge? and how old do you recommend a child be to start taking them?
I charge $12 per half hour lesson, and it definitely depends on the child. . .I take mature 5 and 6 year olds (with a 20-30 minute attention span) or otherwise 7 or 8 always works. It'd be way fun to teach your kids! :-)
